BWIB’s Technolgy Committee focuses on introducing members to various industries and professional opportunities that lie within the intersection of business and technology. By teaching both technical and non-technical skills, the Technology Committee aims to help prepare members for careers in technology consulting, UX/UI, data science and analytics, product, and more.

Quarterly Goal
Our tech committee's goal for the spring project is to offer two distinct tracks: technical processes and entrepreneurial strategy, integrating technology and entrepreneurship through data analysis. Our aim is to equip participants with practical skills acquired in workshops to excel in both domains.

Hey everyone, Happy Week 8! This Thursday from 5-6 PM PST, the Tech Committee will move into the final stages of its Spring Project. This week, we’ll be hosting another joint cohort meeting to create a working MVP of Harmony, our take on a mental health + wellness web application. We’ll be assigning members to teams of three or four, where they’ll then work on building one of the project’s three core features. Using the wireframes prototyped on Figma as a guide, we’ll be spending this next meeting officially building out the website on Bubble.io. [Members Only]

What’s up everybody? Happy Week 7 :D This Thursday, from 5-6 PM PST, the Tech Committee will host another joint committee session to continue our spring project! Both cohorts will meet to finalize our project’s marketing/branding strategy and review the Product Development cohort’s currently in progress wireframes. All members will contribute to finalizing key aspects of the project, such as logo design, value proposition, and web design theme before being assigned to a team to build out feature functionalities on bubble.io. Hey guys, hope week 6 has been treating you well! Tonight, from 5-6 PM PST, the Tech Committee will officially begin the prototyping stage of our Spring Project! The Strategy & Research cohort will be meeting to discuss marketing strategy, value proposition, and branding. Meanwhile, the Product Development cohort will officially begin work on turning the ideas we discussed during the PRD workshop into a working prototype via wireframing. We hope to see you all there!
